Sam and Ryans wedding day saw all four seasons of Taranaki’s weather. Starting the day off with pouring rain that lasted right up until the end of their ceremony. We managed to sneak away to Lake Mangamahoe for bridal portraits and by the time we were back for the reception we were greeted with the most beautiful golden sunset- we were so happy!

Sams styling truly reflected the both of them and gave us so many beautiful details to photograph. One of my favorite details was their beautiful cakes. They had a little black lab put on top of one of their cakes as a nod to their puppy Lou who wasn’t able to make it to the wedding (did you spy her) These two are such genuinely good people- you could feel the love and support of all those who came to their wedding.
